Our Mission is TO PROVIDE FLEXIBLE FAMILY FRIENDLY PET CARE.

My name is Gareth and I have spent the last 12 years working in the fitness industry. My wife Angela is a full time GP and my step son Finlay is 9. Our younger child Sam is 4.
In November 2010, we launched Dog Tired in the Broughty Ferry area of Dundee.

The idea for the business came from our personal experiences and difficulties finding somewhere other than boarding kennels for our elderly Golden Retriever Hudson, who sadly passed away in October 2010.

We came up with the idea of offering home boarding – holidays for your dog!

Many dogs are bored and distressed in kennels and long for long walks and home comforts. Many elderly dogs may struggle in that sort of environment, particularly if they have mobility problems as Hudson did.

Both children miss the dog very much and will be very good at entertaining any boarders that we have. Our back garden is fully enclosed with lots of room to play. We all plan to be involved in the dog walking and it will be very much a family affair.
